dice manipulation through Blood
With this update, I’ve overhauled the dice rolling to allow players to manipulate their rolls. They can spend a resource called Blood in order to activate special dice manipulation abilities. Players have 3 Blood max, and regenerate 2 Blood per day.
Blood can be spent on the following abilities:
Sanguine Surge. Adds +3 to a dice roll. Costs 1 Blood.
Blood Die. Rolls an additional die, keep the highest roll. Costs 2 Blood.
I’ve also added a new Dice Roll interface that gives players a better overview of what their rolls will do, as well as more time to check what the outcome of their dice roll was.
Together, this should make dice rolling much clearer, as well as far more tactical (Do I spend Blood or not? How important is this roll to me? Should I save my Blood for a sequence of rolls the next day? How can I spend it smartly so I don’t overcap?)!
